Just over an hour’s drive on from Wellington, 90 minutes from Palmerston North and three hours from Hawkes Bay, Cobblestones Museum is located in Main St Greytown, on State Highway 2 on the route of the Classic NZ Wine Trail.
New Zealand’s first planned inland town, Greytown is a popular destination and a visit to Cobblestones is a ‘must do’ activity. Set in two acres of idyllic park-like grounds, you may like to picnic under one of many fine trees during your visit.
We welcome bus tours and school group visits. The Mangapakeha school can be used by a class to experience what school was like for their great-grandparents. Please contact us to make a booking for your tour or class.
The historic church can be booked for weddings. The administration building has a kitchen and can also be hired for small functions.
